About PLNTH
PLNTH makes architectural stone plinths. Stone-clad forms in marble, granite, travertine, onyx and other natural stones, built to a small set of considered proportions.
Each plinth is finished by hand and carries the natural variation of the stone selected. No two pieces are identical. The geometry is consistent. The material is not.
We work with galleries, interior designers, architects, collectors, hospitality projects and private clients. PLNTH pieces are designed to hold sculpture, ceramics, lighting and objects that benefit from a quiet architectural platform.
Series 01 and Editions are primarily made to order in Johannesburg, South Africa. Finished pieces are quality checked, professionally protected and crated, then dispatched using specialist courier or freight services appropriate to the weight and destination. Placement and installation assistance can be arranged on request.
We deliver throughout South Africa and accept international orders by quotation. Trade, project and bespoke enquiries are welcome.
